• Elizabeth McLaughlin as Massie Block is a girl who comes from a rich family. She is a leader in pretty group in her school who likes expensive fashion. She is arrogant and snobbish. 
• Samantha Boscarino as Alicia Rivera is a member in pretty group or clique. She is as sneaky as she is beautiful.   
• Bridgit Mendler as Kristen Gregory is a smart girl who get a scholarship. She is a member in clique. Both of her parents are extremely strict and not as rich as the parents of the other girls.  
• Sophie Anna Everhard as Dylan Marvil is a member in clique. She makes everyone in the Clique laugh and likes to wear black or dark colors so she will look more slim. 

• Ellen Marlow  as Claire Lyons is a smart blue eyes blonde girl who is coming from a poor family. Because of her parents' financial problems, she always get insult from the clique. Her goal is to win Massie's respect and join the Clique. 
• Vanessa Marano as Layne Abeley is Claire's best friend who is a strange girl. 
• Keli Price  as Chris Abeley is freshman who is good looking. His good looks make him popular with the girls. Massie quickly falls in love to him without knowing he already has a girlfriend, Fawn. 
• Dylan Minnette  as Todd Lyons is Claire's younger brother who is naughty.

Movie Reviews of The Clique

          The movie begins with Massie Block screaming at her mother and father for ruining her original plans of going to a party called “end of the year” because of the arrival of her father's best friend, Lyons and his family (Judi, Son, Todd, and Claire). Lyons and his family are moving from Orlando, Florida to Westchester, New York to live in the Block's guest house until they find a new house. Her mother later makes a deal that if Massie is kind to the Lyons' daughter Claire, she is allowed to go to the party. When they arrive, Massie immediately dislikes Claire. Massie is rude to her because Claire was just a typical girl who didn't have designer clothes and wasn't rich. At dinner, Massie rushes the family just for she could leave them and goes to the party, but it is annoyed when her mother invites Claire to go to the party.

          The next day, while Massie is riding her horse, She meets a boy named Chris Abeley who she instantly fall in love. Chris is a high-school student at Briarwood, and he knew Massie from her parents' annual charity auction.

          The next day is the first day of seventh grade for Claire, Massie, and the rest of the Pretty group for going to school. Massie's friends which are Alicia who is the gorgeous one, Dylan who is the one that thinks she needs to lose weight and then Kristen who is the super smart one. When Kristen asks Massie if they "like her" and Massie answers, "No." Massie always drives her friends to school with them, and Claire is dumped in the backseat. While she is in the back, Claire is ignored then Massie and her friends is being fun in the car.While walking to the school, Claire is collided with Chris Abeley who is riding his skateboard and falls on top of Claire. Massie sees this incident and she is very angry.

          During art class, Alicia spills red paint to Claire's jeans. After seeing the red paint, the art teacher tells Claire to go to the nurse office because he thinks that Claire get her period. While looking for the office, Dylan gives her false directions that make she embarrasses herself. After that, she finds the real nurse's office, and realizes Alicia had spilled paint on her jeans. Then, the nurse orders her to change her clothes with  the clothes in the nurse’s room.

          Claire goes to the Massie's house to talk things with Massie, and after seeing that the room was empty she hijacks Massie's I.M. and she is pretending to be Massie, she says to Alicia that now she likes Claire. The next night, Claire goes up to Massie's house and hijacks Massie’s I.M. again, she said that Dylan’s legs would not look good in a miniskirt. Dylan becomes mad at Massie and starts to wear long skirts to hide her legs. The next night, Claire hides Massie's dog, Bean, to gain more time at hijacking Massie's I.M. While chatting with Kristen, she finds out Kristen's secret: her parents are actually poor and Kristen got a scholarship. In exchange for Kristen's secret, Claire (as Massie) tells Kristen that actually she likes Layne.

          The next day, Kristen, Dylan and Alicia befriend Claire and ditch Massie, because they believe that she is friends with Layne instead of them now. Claire accepts, and even hangs out with them after school. They go to a designer store, and Alicia offers to buy her a dress for the charity auction and gives Claire her old phone, so they can keep in touch to hang out. Dylan invites Claire to her house, but Claire protests and says she has to be home at 5 p.m. However, Claire goes to Dylan's house. Claire gets home at 7 p.m and her mother is angry but worried about Claire. Her mom ends up banning her from hanging out with Alicia, Dylan, and Kristen because she felt her attitude has changed and demands her to return the expensive dresses.

          That night, Massie sends a messsage to all of her friends, but only Kristen replies after she told her about the lip gloss tubes for Glambition had arrived. Kristen arrives to pick up the package when she and Massie get into a heated argument and find out about Claire's scheme. Then they make a calling in conference. So they tell to Claire that she has a big mistake cause hijacks Massie’s I.M.

          Before departing for the school's field trip, Claire makes up with Layne. So, in the trip, Massie and her friends start selling their lip gloss, and that cause many of the girls' lips to swell after an allergic reaction from the peanut oil in the glosses. After that, Unknown’s person sends Claire a message that oatmeal will help with the swelling. Then, Claire ask for Layne’s oatmeal and help them. Kristen thanks Claire for saving the day and admits that Claire was better off knowing her secret than Massie. The next day at the auction, Claire meets Chris Abeley's girlfriend, Fawn.

          Later, Claire stops Massie from popping out of the cake by announcing Fawn was Chris's girlfriend. Massie is go to backstage where she and Claire reconcile their friendship. She says thanks to Claire and Claire say the same because Claire knows that Massie is the unknown person who sends a message to help all the friends at school’s field trip. Finally, they be a bestfriend.

The moral value of this movie is

·         A friendship is a person who comes in a happy or sad event.

·         You would better not to have a friendship with the person who stabs you from the backside.

·         Don’t force to be the other people if you better as just the way you are. Because you are what you think and what you do.
